Privacy Policy

The short version

This is a personal portfolio site. It does not sell anything, does not run advertising and does not build a profile of you. The only personal information it handles is what you deliberately type into the contact form or the newsletter field.

Nothing you submit is sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing.

What I collect

Contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company, project type, stage, budget, timeline, a product link and your project description. All of it is voluntary except name, email and the description.

Newsletter: your email address only.

Technical data: when you submit a form, your IP address is recorded briefly alongside the submission. This is used solely to rate-limit spam — five submissions per minute per address — and for no other purpose.

Why I collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to scope and quote work if we go ahead, and to send the occasional design note if you asked for one. That is the complete list.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. A single local storage entry records whether you have dismissed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page — that entry never leaves your browser.

If website analytics are added later, this section will be updated before they go live.

Who else sees it

Enquiries reach me directly. Where an engagement involves SakhiSoft, the relevant details may be shared with the delivery team working on your project — and only with them.

The site is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which necessarily processes traffic to serve pages. No other processors are involved.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as there is an active or plausible working relationship, and no longer than 24 months after the last contact. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time for a copy of what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email the address below and it will be done within 30 days — usually the same week.

Security

Form submissions are validated and rate-limited server-side, and the site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, financial details or anything confidential through the contact form — we can arrange a secure channel instead.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
