This page governs your use of this website. It does not govern any design engagement — those are covered by the specific proposal, statement of work or contract signed for that project, which always takes precedence over anything written here.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Intellectual property

The design, code, written content and visual identity of this site belong to Muhammad Adnan unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share links freely. You may not republish substantial portions of the written content, or reproduce the design, without written permission.

Project names and client marks referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners and are used to describe work performed, not to imply endorsement.

Project content and NDAs

Some work shown here is described rather than displayed, because it is covered by a non-disclosure agreement. Where a project is described, the description reflects the design problem and approach without disclosing confidential material.

If you believe anything on this site discloses something it should not, email me and it will be reviewed and removed the same day if warranted.

Accuracy of content

Content here is provided in good faith and kept current, but it is descriptive rather than contractual. Timelines, service scopes and figures shown on this site are typical ranges and indicative examples — the numbers that bind either of us are the ones in a signed proposal.

Articles in the design notes section are professional opinion, not advice for a specific situation.

Engagements

Nothing on this site constitutes an offer to enter into a contract. A working relationship begins only when a written proposal is accepted by both parties.

Standard commercial terms — ownership of files on final payment, two review rounds per phase, fixed price per phase — are described on the services and FAQ pages and are restated in each proposal.

This site links to external profiles such as Behance, Dribbble, LinkedIn and Fiverr, and to client products. I am not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of any external site.

Liability

This website is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, information published here. Liability arising from an actual engagement is governed by the contract for that engagement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. TODO(adnan): if most of your clients are elsewhere, take advice on whether a different jurisdiction suits you better.
