Fresh groceries, honest substitutions
A fresh grocery delivery app. The interesting problem was variable stock and weight-based pricing — I designed substitution, part-fulfilment and price-adjustment flows that keep the customer informed.
The work
Designed a substitution preference that is set once and respected every order.
Made weight-variable pricing legible before checkout, not after the card is charged.
Designed a repeat-order path, because grocery is the most habitual category there is.
Files were handed over annotated and component-based, with a live walkthrough for the engineering team.
