Planning for what comes after
An estate and legacy planning platform. The design challenge was emotional as much as functional: a heavy subject, long forms and decisions people avoid. I designed a pace that lets them stop and come back.
The work
Broke a very long process into resumable chapters with visible progress and no penalty for pausing.
Rewrote the interface language with the client to remove legal jargon from every primary path.
Designed a calm, low-contrast visual system — this is not a product that should feel urgent.
Files were handed over annotated and component-based, with a live walkthrough for the engineering team.
