Sending money that feels safe
A peer-to-peer payments app. I designed the send, request and confirmation flows with a focus on the moment of commitment — the point where users are most likely to abandon or make a mistake.
The work
Designed an irreversible-action pattern: review, confirm, then a short window to cancel.
Made recipient verification impossible to skim past — the single biggest source of costly errors.
Designed failure and pending states as fully as success, because that is where trust is really tested.
Files were handed over annotated and component-based, with a live walkthrough for the engineering team.
